The terms of my parole

Dear Officer Hatch,

I am writing to request an allowance in my parole. (In the terms of my parole.)

I have a brother, Trotsky, who is building a silo about 50 miles outside of McDermott. He needs my help badly because he has only the one arm. (He lost the other in a motorbike accident about six years ago.)

I have been very good with my parole these past 17 months and would appreciate any room you can give me, as would my brother.

Enclosed is one elderberry tart made by my girlfriend Betty. She makes them only twice a year, and I know it’s not propriate but she insists.

Enjoy!

Henny TH
